Almost everything happens in the triangle between Parc del Clot, Plaça del Mercat and Plaça de Valentí Almirall, a few minutes’ walk from each other, with La Farinera del Clot (Gran Via, 837) next to them. Parc del Clot hosts the orienteering race, the Dia de les Arts, the fire show and the closing fireworks. Further up, in Camp de l’Arpa, the Halloween train leaves from Indústria and Freser.
Almost all the children’s plans are free. What you pay for: the orienteering race (€9.50 up to age 21 and €14 from 21, insurance included, register at club@clubcoc.cat) and the Fire Beasts snack (€3), although that afternoon’s children’s activities are free. The programme gives no price for the Halloween train or Día de Muertos. The community lunch on Sunday 1st (€14) is optional.
Parent to parent: Sunday 1st has plenty going on. In the morning, the Giants Gathering and, when it ends, the party in Plaça de Valentí Almirall. And on Saturday 7th, Jugantots in Plaça del Mercat from 10.30 am to 1.30 pm: ten giant wooden games, perfect for a relaxed morning and some shopping at the market.
